Twin Tails Contest Round 1

I did this mostly because the idea was too cute to not play with. Usually I'm a points junkee but this one has no points to be won! Lucky us uwu
okay let's see what we can do to help describe what I've loosely sketched thus far.

The one to the visible left would be the one I'd lay claim to.
The one on the right [longer hair] would perhaps belong to *TinyFurrTails

Mine:

Kado [kay-dough] is a bit of an unfortunate story really. He wanted to be free of his parent's plight, born the third one out in his batch of siblings, he took the plunge to painstakingly disabling his tail's eyes. He didn't have the stomach to do the tongue as well, thinking if it couldn't see, perhaps the tongue wouldn't matter. The only trouble was, Kado wanted to be so far out of what the fates had handed him, he failed to pay attention to his tail, did not provide it with the love it needed, and thusly it began to consume him. [hence his poor little half eaten arm]. Fortunately for him, his mistake of not removing the tail's tongue actually worked out for him. His mate, a girl he'd seen yet not really paid attention to, happened to see him being consumed. Kado had perhaps resigned himself to his fate, but she couldn't let him do it. So she rushed over and allowed her tail to look upon his, even if his could not really look back. Their tongues touching was enough, and Kado's tail immediately released him and quickly latched itself to his mate. He didn't know whether to be grateful or horrified. She helped bandage him, and they have both adjusted to their new situation. Some feelings have even begun to bud between them, though both unsure just how to express them.

They have a sort of opposite but similar matching going on. Or they will. I haven't quite figured out their clothing designs yet, but Kado wears more chains on purpose than his mate, as he has a bit more to lose than her, since he's already been partially feasted on. And yes, it requires two keys to be opened.

The colors listed are mainly for their hair, their clothing and such still yet undecided, though it will be a similar pallet between the both of them.
