I really had a lot of fun with this drawing, and sort of just let myself have some fun in creating my own style and not really caring too heavily on what I wanted it to look like. I always like exaggerating limbs a bit, as well as other attributes, and i had a really good time just sort of playing with it until it looked cute to me.
i do realize that the pink marks are a bit rough, just hand drawn by mouse quickly, wanted to get the feel more than the precise flow.
was also hand drawn and lined, and just colored in sai.

i haven't got a real strong backstory for her yet. but i do know that instead of tattoos or other markings like most are doing, i really like the idea of her pinkened marks being a sign of her magic. so when she uses her magic, they appear/darken, and glow. when she's not using her magic, they can fade and even disappear, though that usually only happens completely if she's asleep.

anywho, i'm sure i'll find something more specific than that to jot down soon!
